About Me

Lindsay Stark: Welcome to the blog for the Room 23 Busy Bees! My name is Mrs. Stark and I will be teaching 29 fabulous first graders this year at Ainsworth Elementary. I have taught 1st grade for two years prior and a year of Kindergarten before that. First grade is definitely my favorite! My classroom philosophy is focused on creating a community of learners, through which students are supported and guided in the learning process. We will build a bridge to academic independence. I can't wait to see the transition over the next 9 months! We will be learning a lot this year in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art and so much more. I hope to instill a love of learning that will last throughout your child’s school years.
